Sludge Drying Plants
As a result of water and wastewater treatment in treatment facilities, a considerable amount of treatment sludge is formed. Treatment sludge is an increasingly growing environmental problem all over the world due to their high pollutant content and its large volume.

The first aim in the disposal of Treatment Sludge is to reduce the amount and volume of sludge and to reduce space and transfer costs. Treatment Sludge should be considered as a valuable energy source, and the element and pathogen limit values that must be provided for human health and the environment should be reduced below the required limits.

Dewatering is applied to Treatment Sludges as the first process. However, currently applied mechanical dewatering methods are not technically and legally sufficient in the final disposal phase. For this reason, the water content of treatment sludges should first be reduced by natural and thermal methods after dewatering. Treatment Sludge should be evaluated and managed with environmentally friendly methods.
